With this option, one to three lines of type are imprinted on a planner. The exact number of characters available depends on the size of the item being personalized. For leather (and some faux leather) items, blind debossing is usually recommended—the text is imprinted using only heat and pressure. With other surfaces, especially board covers, the text can be debossed using gold, silver or colored foils. When personalization is ordered, all you have to do is type the text into the boxes supplied on the product's ordering page.
CUSTOM DIE IMPRINTING:
This method enables you to put your company logo, an intricate monogram, special type faces, your school crest, a team design or your family coat of arms on the cover of your planner. A metal die is made, and all orders must have vector artwork.
What is vector artwork?
Vector artwork is black-and-white (line) artwork, preferably sent electronically to email@example.com.
Adobe Illustrator is preferred, solid black-and-white, in an .eps, .tif, or .AI format.
We cannot accept files downloaded from the internet unless they are specifically designed
for reproduction purposes. Images cannot be accepted in Grayscale, RGB, CMYK, or
indexed color modes, as they create rough pixellated edges when printed.
Extremely small text should be avoided; if there are any problems with the artwork you submit, we will contact you and find a good solution!
Do you accept .JPG or .GIF images?
We cannot accept files in .jpg or .gif format as they are designed for viewing purposes
only and automatically convert the file into grayscale or color modes.
If you are going to send Photoshop files or scanned images, they must be at least 300 dpi,
scanned as solid black-and-white bitmap mode, and saved in .tif or .psd format.
Electronic transfer is preferred; e-mails cannot exceed 3 MB in size.
Mailed black-and-white images on paper are acceptable, as are CDs or Zips.
